Who or what is Sheets & Giggles? Based in Denver, S&G makes absurdly soft, sustainable lyocell bedding out of eucalyptus trees. Our sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases are naturally softer, more breathable, and more moisture-wicking than cotton. Plus, because we don't work with physical retailers, our prices are about 20-40% lower than the comparable high-quality eucalyptus options at your local bedding retailer. We can't name that retailer for legal reasons, but they may or may not also sell shower caddies. Bobby, our logistics manager, is a kind and generous warehouse god.Fun, unique packaging that makes you look like a champion gift giver. We send free pizzas to two customers every single week for, like, no reason.Maybe even a free dog, who knows?* *Legally we cannot send you dogs, sorry Read more Why Eucalyptus Trees We don't harvest wood from ancient or endangered forests; rather, our eucalyptus trees are grown on sustainably managed and biodiverse plantations. For every tree harvested, two more are planted, and for every order we plant a new baby tree somewhere in the US that needs reforestation. Up to 96% less water used than cotton Up to 30% less energy used Up to ∞% less pesticides and insecticides (i.e., we don't use any). Learn Some Sheet If you're a fan of high end, high priced bamboo viscose sheets, or if you love the feel of your cute modal underwear with pandas on them, you'll obsess over our eucalyptus lyocell. All three materials are cellulosic rayon, which is made from different types of wood, and they have similar feels and breathability. Our lyocell is the latest and greatest generation of this rayon production process which is much more sustainable than previous processes with much less chemical runoff. Our process allows reuse of nearly 100% of the solvents used in each batch of wood pulp production. This is a much more sustainable process than earlier methods, which typically has a lot of chemical runoff (depending on the manufacturer). If you don't put these on your bed and think to yourself, "Holy sheet, these are amazing," we'll give you a full refund immediately. We're so confident you'll love the feel of eucalyptus lyocell that we'll even pay for return shipping. #Give2Sheets Every year, 10 million tons of textiles wind up in landfills. Coincidentally, blankets are the #2 most-requested item at homeless shelters. To help with this shortage, S&G will give you 10% off a future order if you donate your old (but still in good condition!) sheets or a blanket to a local shelter near you. One Tree Planted We're all about helping others before helping ourselves. For every order we receive, we plant an adorable baby tree somewhere in the US that needs reforestation via our one-for-one partnership with One Tree Planted. Read more
